GDST Bursaries

If your daughter would benefit from a Newcastle High education, but your family is not in a position to cover the full fees, you may be eligible for a bursary through the Girls’ Day School Trust.

As a charity, the GDST aims to be an access enabler: seeking out the brightest, most deserving girls for bursaries so that the largest possible number of talented girls can benefit from an excellent GDST education. In particular, we aim as far as we can to focus our support on girls whom the chance of a GDST education would be a transformative, life-changing prospect. Overall, nearly 20% of girls at GDST senior schools receive financial assistance to help towards their fees. This amounted to over £10.5m last year.  To find out more about the GDST Bursary Scheme, please download the leaflet below.

Reece Foundation Bursaries

We are delighted to be able to offer a new Sixth Form bursary scheme from September 2017, for girls who are intending to take a higher education course in Engineering after completing their A Levels at the school.

The Reece Foundation will support two girls with means-tested bursaries of up to 100% of school fees for the duration of their Sixth Form at Newcastle High.
