Top Violinist Bradley Creswick made a very special visit to NHSG on Wednesday 4th November.
The leader of Northern Sinfonia and internationally acclaimed musician spent the afternoon rehearsing with the girls from Brandling and Orchestra on a number of challenging pieces, including Vivaldi’s Winter and Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony. He was able to sprinkle magic over the pieces and the girls were utterly inspired by his presence, instantly raising their game when he was in the room. The result was a fabulous concert that evening, with the girls and Bradley playing astonishingly well. Bradley also found time to answer some questions and perform two amazing solo pieces which had the crowd in awe.

We are extremely lucky to have him visit our school and be patron of our string ensemble, the Brandling. Thanks also go to Carol Wichmann who is a key part of organising the event and introducing Bradley to NHSG.
