Eafa Godson has achieved the highest possible grade in every one of her GCSE examinations (eight Grade 9s and two A*s) setting an excellent foundation for A Level studies at NHSG, and equalling her sister, Wulfrun’s, success at GCSE in 2017.
Talking of her achievement, Eafa said: “I followed my sister’s example and did quite a lot of revision in the lead up to my GCSEs. There was also a bit of healthy competition as I set my sights on doing as well as my sister at GCSE. I’m so glad I put as much effort in as I did. It meant that I felt a degree of satisfaction when it came to answering the questions set in the examinations although I was absolutely euphoric when my last exam was over! I had high expectations but my results have exceeded these.”
Eafa will now be studying A levels in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Chemistry at NHSG.
She explained: “I love Biology but am a bit apprehensive about Chemistry but I know I will get fantastic support from the teachers at school. I had also been considering an A Level in Geography which I love so it has been a difficult choice.
“Ultimately I want to study Marine Biology and have done so since the age of 13. I am going to undertake a Marine Based Research project for my EPQ alongside my A levels and I am looking forward to that.”
Looking to post A Levels Eafa said: “I have been considering taking a degree in California but currently I’m thinking that I may complete my undergraduate degree in the UK and post-grad in the USA.”
