Sarah achieved an outstanding set of GCSE results, securing all top grades including nine Grade 9s.
Despite feeling nervous on results day, Sara said she felt well prepared for her exams and credits her teachers and the school’s revision sessions.
“I worked hard for my GCSEs and felt confident that I’d done well, but I was still nervous to see my results,” she said. “I’m especially pleased with my Further Mathematics result and achieving a Grade 9 in Physics after getting Grade 8s in my mock exams.”
Sarah will continue her studies with A Levels at NHSG in French, Spanish, Geography and Chemistry. She hopes to study Law at university where there isn’t a set subject requirement and has therefore been able to choose A Level subjects that she genuinely enjoys and feels will allow her to thrive.
“Languages have always been something I’ve enjoyed, and I’d love to be able to combine languages with Law in the future, as well as doing plenty of travelling.”
Outside the classroom, Sarah is an accomplished musician who plays both piano and violin and is currently working towards Grade 8 examinations.
Looking ahead to Sixth Form, she is excited about studying fewer subjects in greater depth and remaining part of the School’s supportive all girl environment, “It’s such a supportive community at NHSG.”
