Thursday 2nd March was World Book Day and Year 7 embraced the chance to show their enthusiasm for literature by dressing up as their favourite characters and taking part in a book swap.

Over at Chapman House, visitors to Year 6 could be forgiven for thinking they had wandered into Hogwarts, with the quantity of brooms, cloaks and wands in the classrooms! Lower down the Year Groups girls took part in a range of Gruffalo and Beatrix Potter themed activities including baking, gardening and designing book covers.  It is crucial to encourage a love of reading in children and we are thrilled that the girls’ passion for books is so evident at NHSG.
